The hotel is in the centre of the old city, close to many good restaurants and shops. It is rumoured that there is a secret tunnel to the castle on the hill top behind the hotel. The hotel was formerly a nunnery and was built by the Marquis del Campo about 450 years ago. It is 800 metres from the beach and has 43 recently renovated rooms all with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. There are activities to suit everyone in and around Denia, including golf, sailing, scuba diving, kite surfing, jet skiing, mountain biking, and climbing.
